In our previous articles, we examined the document creation bottleneck facing many law firms and the role AI can play in legal documentation workflows. SpeechLive Legal puts that potential into practice within the established SpeechLive environment.

Designed specifically for legal document creation, the assistant brings together a lawyer’s dictation, relevant source material, and a selected template to generate a structured draft. Legal professionals can then review and refine the content using voice or text before completing their firm’s usual approval process.

From dictation to a structured document draft

Legal document creation often begins with information held in several places, including a lawyer’s dictation, client details, case documents, notes, correspondence, and other supporting materials. SpeechLive Legal brings these inputs together in a clear workflow.

1. Record or upload a dictation

Users can create a new voice recording or upload an existing dictation, allowing legal professionals to capture instructions and matter-specific details in the way they already work.

2. Add supporting information
