You can split up dictations into different smaller parts, depending on the length of the dictation.

Go to the dictation list and locate the dictation you want to split up. When you hover over the dictation you can see on the right side the split dictation icon , click on it to open the split dictation window.
At the top you can select how many parts you want to divide the dictation into.
The available options depend on the length of the dictation.
You can also choose the overlap setting, so that the dictation is not exactly split, but also includes extra seconds at the split points. This means that e.g. if you select a 5 second overlap, 5 seconds will be added at each split point to the splittet up dictations. This is useful to avoid any sentences breaking up when splitting the dictation.
If the dictation you want to split contains attachments, you can select the Copy attachments option to copy the attachments to all the split dictations.
You can also choose to immediately archive the dictation file you’re splitting up after the split up is finished.
Continue by clicking Next at the bottom.
On the next screen you see a list of the dictation that will be created out of the one you’re splitting up.
You can also add a comment to the newly split up dictations if necessary.
Click Confirm at the bottom to finish splitting up the dictation.
