Delete a user

You can delete a workflow user in SpeechLive if you e.g. no longer need a specific typist or author. To delete a typist or an author:

  1. Navigate to the Administration tab.

  2. Select the user in the list.

  3. The user is opened on the right side, here you can choose Delete at the bottom.

Depending on your configuration, you may need to take some further steps:

  • Automatically reassign dictations to a different user

    If you have more than one typist in your account, you can automatically reassign dictations to a different typist (the same is true for authors):

    1. Choose the user who should receive the dictations in the dialog window.

    2. Click Transfer dictations and delete user to finish the deletion process.

  • Deleting your last typist

    When you delete your last typist, you need to either delete or reassign dictations directly assigned to the typist. The quickest way to reassign all dictations of a user can be done as office manager, see Reassign dictations as office manager for more information.
