Send dictations to Dragon Medical One

  • Account administrators or office managers can activate different types of speech recognition for you. See Activate speech recognition for users for more information.

  • When sending dictations to Dragon Medical One, it will take approximately the length of the dictation to process, e.g. a 10 minute dictation will take approximately 10 minutes to process.

  • Prerequisites: Make sure that you have installed the latest version of Philips device connector and all its components (see Philips Device Connector (PDC)) and that Dragon Medical One is already correctly set up on the computer where you use SpeechLive (both the subscription and the DMO client).

  • You need to start the Dragon Medical One client at least once on your computer.

  • Dragon Medical One is only supported for SpeechLive Pro and SpeechLive Enterprise.

You can send dictations to speech recognition:

  1. Click on the checkbox next to a dictation to select it. This way you can also select multiple dictations at once.

    You can only send dictations to speech recognition when they are in the Transcription pending state. See Phases and states for more information.

  2. Click Send to speech recognitionsend_to_sr.png in the toolbar.

  3. Choose Dragon Medical One and click Confirm.

    X The dictation will be processed and you'll receive back the transcript.
