Add pictures or videos to your dictation
Note
Picture attachments are not available if you're signed in via SpeechExec Enterprise.
Choose a dictation in the dictation list or create a new dictation.
Tap on the Info
icon at the bottom of the screen to open the dictation properties.Tap on the camera
button in the lower right corner.You can either choose:
Add photo/video
to add pictures or videos saved on your device.Take photo
to take a new picture with the camera of your device. Please allow SpeechLive to access the camera of your device to use this function.Take video
to take a new video with the camera of your device. Please allow SpeechLive to access the camera of your device to use this function.
Note
Camera access is necessary so you can take pictures or videos with the SpeechLive Mobile App and add them to your dictations.
If you declined the access, you can change this setting manually:
Go to the settings of your device:
iOS: Choose SpeechLive in the list.
Android: Select the Apps section of the settings and choose SpeechLive in the list.
Allow the app the necessary permissions:
iOS: Choose Camera and activate the switch
to allow the SpeechLive Mobile App access to your camera.Android: Select Permissions, choose Camera and activate the switch
to allow the SpeechLive Mobile App access to your camera.
Tap the respective button again to add more pictures or videos.
After you're finished adding pictures or videos to your dictation, you can close this screen by taping on the
icon.X The pictures/videos are added to your dictation and you can continue working on it.
