Apple Watch (iOS only)

Version 1.14.0 and newer of the Mobile App for iOS supports the Apple Watch. This way you can record and play back dictations on your wrist using the Apple Watch.

Installation

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll all the way down and make sure that SpeechLive is installed. Tap Install if its not installed.

Record / play back dictations with your Apple Watch

  1. Press the Digital Crown of your Apple Watch and tap on the SpeechLive icon sl-apple-watch-image.png in the overview of your apps.

  2. Tap speechlive_app_icon-record.png to start recording, and speechlive_app_icon-pause.png to pause/stop recording.

  3. Tap playback-icon_applewatch.png to playback your recording.

  4. Tap finish-icon_applewatch.png to send your dictation to SpeechLive, or delete-icon_applewatch.png to delete your current recording.

    [Note]Note

    • If the Mobile App is open on your iPhone, your dictation will be synchronized immediately. Otherwise, it will be synchronized the next time you open the Mobile App on your iPhone.

    • The dictation will be sent to your typist(s) to begin working on it. Your Preferred typist or team setting will be respected.
